Feel Good, Look Good, Do Good

While writing about The Resort at the Mountain in Oregon’s Mt. Hood region, we were reminded of how important it is to be kind to the environment and those who call it home. The resort recently welcomed 11,000 indigenous plants to its grounds and helps re-establish fish habitats in its spare time. Even its 27-hole golf course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Though we can’t all be as eco-friendly as this place, we can do our part. In honor of next week’s Valentine’s Day, we’ve rounded up a few eco-friendly finds—perfect for spreading love to significant others, yourself and important causes!

Made from 100% pure argan oil grown in Morocco, Josie Maran’s organic, vegan moisturizing oil is perfect for your face, hands … even split ends!

You probably already knew this, but for every pair of Toms purchased, the shoe company gives one pair of shoes to a child in need. Chic and charitable.

Indulge in chocolate and a cause with Endangered Species Chocolate’s Valentine’s Day varieties (we recommend the delectable mix of dark-chocolate-covered cranberries and almonds).

The sustainable brand Blue Avocado recently joined forces with Lauren Conrad to create a fun, eco-friendly (and wallet-friendly!) line of storage accessories made from recycled plastic bottles.
