Say it ain’t so, Summer!

With Labor Day come and gone, summer has tragically, albeit unofficially, come to a close. Sure, fall doesn’t truly start until September 22, but as we find ourselves once again sipping a pumpkin spice latte while stuck behind some lumbering school bus on the way to work, there’s no denying it: Summer has taken leave of us.

Fortunately, there are places in the world where summer never ends. Places where warm weather and sunshine reign year round, and where snow, sleet, and freezing rain never dare show their grim, unwelcome faces. If a never-ending summer sounds good to you, check out these hot destinations!

When we think of Los Cabos, it’s all “beaches and sunshine.” But it wasn’t until we started writing about Casa Natalia in San Jose del Cabo that we realized this place has a little something more up its sleeve. Nestled behind the town’s main square, a trendy art district with 15 galleries has visitors oohing and aahing at everything from modern paintings by Mexican artists to native folk art.

Oh, and there’s no need to settle for just one gallery; seasonal Thursday-night Art Walks occur from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. So go ahead sample them all. It’s an artful summer stroll, brought to you by some of Mexico’s finest artistic visionaries.
