Disneyland Fireworks

Writing about the Hotel Menage in Anaheim, CA, we had to do some research about the world-famous Disneyland Resort. And naturally, we found ourselves humming some of this movie titan’s best soundtrack numbers.

In that spirit, we decided we’d brighten up your day with a few of our favorite choices from Disney films. We’ve selected some of the best Disney tunes, several of which are inspired cover versions, while in other cases the original versions were just too good. So feast your ears on everything from redefined classic Disney to an Oscar-nominated orchestral composition.

Make Today a Spa Day with Mineral-Rich Products

Let’s face it: Sometimes we don’t even have enough time to throw a coat of clear polish on our nails, let alone treat ourselves to a full day at the spa. So while writing about the Mount View Hotel & Spa in Calistoga, California, we were inspired to bring the spa to us. Once a wellness retreat that catered to wealthy Californians, Calistoga entices travelers with its natural, mineral-rich hot springs. The hotel even offers mineral mud baths that help warm muscles, increase circulation and detoxify skin. Here are a few mineral products that we’re eager to add into our daily routine.

And with summer right around the corner, now is the perfect time to add a few of our favorite classics to your must-read list.

Meet Us in Manhattan

With Friday on the horizon, we can’t help but daydream about mid-morning lattes, leisurely walks through the park or a weekend getaway to, say, New York City. It is the weekend, after all. Anything’s possible. Especially since this week’s Secret Snique hotel is located in the Big Apple itself. Though we can’t announce the hotel name until tomorrow, we can assure you that it’s fabulous. If you can’t make it to Manhattan this weekend, you can still celebrate with a classic Manhattan cocktail. It’s traditionally made with whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters, but we love this elderflower variation. Cheers, fellow travelers!

Free Yoga in Five Fabulous Parks

As spring gets into full swing (or even a slight swing), we can’t help but think about ways we can soak up the sunshine. Thankfully, the Casa Moderna Miami Hotel & Spa provided inspiration for a fun outdoor activity that combines stress-relief with a sun-sensational setting. Bayfront Park, not far from the hotel, provides free yoga. Free yoga? In a park? That’s right. And as it turns out, it’s not the only city that offers such a sweet deal. Classes are free, but bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and towel.
