We were trying to figure out how to make complimentary watersports even better. Then it dawned on us: complimentary watersports on a private island, of course! The Peter Island Resort & Spa sits on Peter Island, a secluded retreat in the British Virgin Islands that is reserved solely for those staying at the resort … a.k.a. you.
So during those sunny afternoons, take advantage of all the non-motorized offerings you can handle. We recommend kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, paddle-boarding, beginner–expert windsurfing … okay, we recommend it all. Who said a secluded island means you can’t cut loose?

Man’s best friend also happens to be our best friend, which is why we love it when a hotel (much like the Hacienda Paradise Boutique Hotel) welcomes pooches with open paws, err, arms.

This particular hotel features pet-friendly rooms, which come equipped with a doggy bed, blankets, leash, toys, treats, water and food bowls. You pup can also play while you’re away with pet sitting services available through its Dog Holiday program. And the hotel’s spa offers the perfect reward for your pampered pooch with its Canis Pet Massage. A dog’s life just got so much better.
Our sale at the swanky Aria in Las Vegas got us thinking: What is there to do in that town?
(Besides dining at world-class restaurants, taking in a fab show, shopping at high-end boutiques, playing a little blackjack, hitting the spa, or going celebrity-sighting, of course.)
Truth be told, there’s always something happening in Sin City. Here are four highlights to look out for this fall:
